1. General Information
The Video Surveillance Policy applies to video surveillance conducted by Villa Anna on the company's premises. The policy covers the processing of personal data of employees and visitors through video surveillance.

In relation to the processing of personal data, Villa Anna is considered the data controller under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

4. Personal Data
Personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (data subject). An identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, by reference to an identifier.
5. Video Surveillance Activity
The video surveillance system operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
6. Purpose of Video Surveillance
Villa Anna conducts video surveillance to:
- Prevent or detect criminal offenses.
- Protect property and prevent unlawful activities.
- Ensure the safety and health protection of individuals.
- Regulate access of clients, suppliers, and employees to the property using vehicles.
7. Legal Basis
- Legitimate interests: protection of property and prevention of unlawful activities (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Vital interests: protection of the health and life of data subjects (Article 6(1)(d) GDPR).
8. Transfer of Personal Data
Villa Anna does not record video surveillance data, so personal data cannot be transferred to anyone.
9. Camera Placement and Operation
Villa Anna adheres to the recommendations of the Data State Inspectorate, ensuring:
- Camera placement that does not exceed the necessary surveillance area.
- Cameras do not cover other people's property, streets, or sidewalks.
- Ensuring appropriate surveillance quality.
- Protection of cameras from unauthorized access and damage.
- Regular technical maintenance of cameras.
- Cameras without audio functions.
- Non-use of video surveillance for monitoring employee workload or quality.
10. Unavailability of Recordings
Video surveillance is not recorded, and copies of recordings do not exist.
11. Prohibitions for Employees
Villa Anna employees are prohibited from:
- Making recordings on personal data carriers.
- Displaying monitors to unauthorized persons or employees without access rights.
12. Rights of Individuals
To exercise data protection rights, an application must be submitted to Villa Anna:
- Written application in person (with a passport or ID card), or
- Electronically signed application to mail@villaanna.lv.
13. Processing of Applications
After receiving the application, Villa Anna identifies the applicant and provides a response within one month.
14. Filing Complaints
Individuals have the right to file a complaint with the Data State Inspectorate:
